Ohio State Football Recruiting: 2027 Four-Star OT Terrance Warren III Impressed With Ohio State, Talks Offer
Georgia standout OT Terrance Warren III places Buckeyes among top choices after receiving offer, highlighting Ohio State's appeal in his recruitment journey.
COLUMBUS, OHIO — The Buckeyes have started to dive in on their 2027 Recruiting Class this past month. They’ve offered a ton of prospects and it doesn't seem as if they are stopping. Recently, Ohio State offered 2027 Four-Star OT Terrance Warren III out of Georgia. He spoke to The Buckeye Tribune about the offer and more.
Warren spoke on the offer and his reaction, “My initial reaction when I got offered was exciting I knew I was gone get offered by them but I didn’t know how long it was gone take but once it came I was happy. This offer is going to boost my recruitment higher than it already is.”
He spoke on what sticks out to him about the reigning national champions, “Ohio State has one of the best football programs to ever exist especially after coming of a national championship that has to tell you something the staff is great and can’t wait to see them in person.”
Furthermore, Warren spoke on the scheme side of things for the Buckeyes. He said, “The scheme I can do whatever they needed me to do from moving from the right side to the left side it don’t matter.” Also, a visit to Ohio State will definitely happen in the future for Warren. The Peach State Native spoke on what he is looking forward to, “I do plan on visiting Ohio State and I’m just ready to see the environment up there. I plan on learning all types of things once I go.”
Finding his next home is a big process and decision. He spoke on what he thinks about when finding his next school, “It’s all about building a relationship with me and my family now then when the time come I’ll just remember love the ones who love me.” Development is a key piece for him, “I want to be the best player on and off the field with whatever school I choose because football doesn’t last forever so I just want something I can fall back on.”
A commitment could come quicker than expected, he said, “I plan on committing to a school the end of my junior year maybe if not the first game of my senior year.” Although it’s fairly early for Warren, a few programs are already in the mix. Some of those are Georgia Tech, USC, North Carolina, Auburn, and many others.
