Ohio State Football Recruiting: 2027 Three-Star DB Emmanuel “ManMan” Moses Recaps Ohio State Camp, Talks Buckeyes Offer
2027 Louisiana Defensive Back Reflects on Camp Performance, Ohio State Offer and His Growing Interest in the Buckeyes
COLUMBUS, OHIO — The Buckeyes have offered a ton of prospects this month at their recruiting camps. Some of the countries top recruits have made their way to Ohio State to camp. One of those recruits is 2027 Three-Star DB Emmanuel “ManMan” Moses out of Louisiana. He spoke to The Buckeye Tribune about his camp at Ohio State and more on his offer.
First, Moses has a pretty strong football family as well. His brothers both play college football. His one older brother Keylan Moses plays LB at LSU and his other older brother is Dylan Moses who played at Alabama from 2017-2020.
But furthermore, the Buckeyes extended an offer to Moses after the camp, “When I received the offer I was very excited, Ohio State has always been my favorite school so to get an offer from them meant a lot to me.” He spoke more on the offer, “I wouldn’t say i was expecting the offer but i knew that if i went out there and showed out that it was possibility.”
He spoke about the camp experience in Columbus, “My experience at Ohio State was definitely the best out of all of them. I learned a lot from the coach staff, they were very hands on with me.” Moses mentioned what stood out to him, “What stood out to me the most is the fact that the coaches truly treated me like a priority and welcomed me with open arms.”
Furthermore, Moses got to talk to the staff about how he’d be used at Ohio State. Moses said, “The staff and I were more so talking about how they would like to use me, which is at the nickle/safety position.”
It’s worthy to note that the Buckeyes already have 2026 Five-Star Safety Blaine Bradford committed. Moses mentioned that he has a relationship with Bradford. He spoke on if he could follow Bradford’s footsteps and leaving the state of Louisiana. He said, “Blaine and I already have a mutual relationship. With him already being up there it definitely gives me even more reason to potentially go. Ohio State is safety university and Blaine and I have the potential to be the next best dynamic duo to come out of Columbus.”
Also, Moses says the Buckeyes are #1 for him. He spoke, “Ohio State is definitely the number 1 team on my board as of right now.” The Buckeyes are on the board with Florida State, Vanderbilt, Baylor, Texas A&M, and others. Expect more schools to be in the mix.
Moses spoke on the development at Ohio State, “Ohio State has always been a dominant team and everybody knows that they are known for producing a lot of players into the NFL. Knowing their track record just get’s me pumped up to even be on their recruiting board.”
The Louisiana Safety will quickly get back to Columbus. He plans on being at Ohio State for their Week One Matchup against Texas. Moses said, “Right now i’m planning to come back to Columbus on August 30th for their first home game when they face off against the University of Texas.”
