BREAKING: 2026 Three-Star OT Aaron Thomas Commits To Ohio State!
Ohio State Bolsters Trenches as Three-Star Offensive Tackle Aaron Thomas Pledges to 2026 Recruiting Class
COLUMBUS, OHIO — Tyler Bowen continues to create a phenomenal offensive line class. The Buckeyes added a commitment from 2026 Three-Star OT Aaron Thomas out of Arizona. He becomes the second Arizona native to join the Buckeyes Class. Thomas couldn’t get away from the winning culture in Columbus.
Thomas was offered by the Buckeyes in March 2025. He was one of Coach Bowen’s first offers. Since then the Buckeyes became an immediate player, which leads us to now.
The Aaron Thomas Profile:
Thomas picked Ohio State over Florida State, Texas A&M, Washington, and Texas. The 6’6 300lbs OT has a ton of power. He attends Mountain Pointe High School located in Phoenix, Arizona. He also played Linebacker for Hayes in his junior season. He is also a Florida State legacy, as his father played football there.
Scouting Report:
He is one of the more slept on prospects at Offensive Tackle Position. His frame and size is a huge plus. A lean 300lbs and with the power he has, is only going to improve at Ohio State. Has great footwork and balance. Very fluid offensive tackle, which blends well with his athleticism.
Thomas was arguably one of the best offensive tackles in the state of Arizona last season. The Buckeyes have gotten them a prospect with tremendous upside and a very solid foundation.

The Commitment Chase:
As mentioned, he was offered in March by Tyler Bowen. He spoke very highly of the Buckeyes, “OSU’s standards are extremely high with everything and you can see that everywhere in the program. Just everything single thing about the program is very good.”
The winning culture, the program, the success, and the Buckeyes blew Thomas away. Ohio State did a great job on their official visit and that only made the Buckeyes’ chances higher. Beating out Florida State was not an easy task though.
