Ohio State Secures Commitment from Four-Star QB Luke Fahey, Bolstering 2026 Class
COLUMBUS, OHIO — The Buckeyes have landed their QB commitment of the 2026 Class. That being 2026 Four-Star QB Luke Fahey. The California Native becomes the Buckeyes guy at the QB position.
The Buckeyes have had him on the radar for a shorter time. But the Buckeyes surely are getting a talented playmaker in Fahey. He also played with True Freshman Ohio State WR Phillip Bell last season, as a junior.

Fahey picked Ohio State over Stanford, Indiana, and Sacramento State. The 6’1 193lbs QB is one of the top QBs in the country. He attends Mission Viejo High School located in Mission Viejo, California. He held offers from other many notable programs as well. He also plays lacrosse.
Scouting Report:
He’s known for his precision and ability to tear defenses apart. His eyes are a big part to his game but his ball placement is scary alike to CJ Stroud’s. He’s got good football IQ and is a guy that can extend plays with his feet and athleticism. He’ll need some development but his potential is through the roofs.
In his junior season, he had 0 Interceptions. He threw for 1,638 passing yards, and 17 TDs. He can become an ideal QB for Ryan Day and Company if he develops right.

Before the Buckeyes came along it was shaping up to be an Indiana vs Stanford battle for Fahey. He quickly became interested with the Buckeyes, and has been a fan of them for awhile. He went into his official visit with Ohio State without an offer, and walked out of Columbus with an offer, and committed to the Buckeyes.
The Buckeyes did a great job on his official visit, and got him to commit to the Buckeyes. Finally ending the 2026 QB search, and landing a very talented playmaker.
